Lisa Large, MD

Adult Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist

Welcome! If you are looking for a caring and collaborative psychiatrist with expertise in treating adults across a variety of conditions, I am here to help. I have 25+ years in clinical practice as a Psychiatrist and Psychopharmacologist with a second board certification in Consult-Liaison psychiatry, which involves psychiatric issues in the context of complex medical issues. Early in my career, I was a supervisory physician educating residents and medical students from the University of California at Davis and Stanford University. Over the last 13 years, I have shifted my focus to outpatient treatment.

My approach is to understand every person's individual biology, background, and present circumstances. Treatment will be personalized to meet you where you are, reduce symptoms standing in your way, and create changes you want to see. I offer medication management, therapy, or both. I provide care to individuals navigating a wide range of psychiatric concerns, offering expertise in diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.

The journey you will take to better your mental health is highly personal and I am honored when I can be a part of that process. I offer both in person and confidential video visits. If you are seeking help for the first time or looking for a new psychiatric provider, I am committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to your individual needs.
